We understand how important the environment is in a care home.
Our goal is to create cosy and warm spaces where residents truly feel at home, because at the end of the day, this is their home. Our vegetable garden provides residents a fantastic opportunity to stay active and involved. They can take part in growing, harvesting, and enjoying the produce, giving them a sense of accomplishment and connection to the food they consume.

I can’t thank the team at Arran Manor enough. Since Mum moved in, she’s been so well looked after—always clean, comfortable, and happy. The staff are absolute diamonds! It’s a real weight off my mind knowing she’s in such good hands.

Moving Mum into a care home was one of the hardest decisions we had to make, but honestly, we couldn’t have chosen better. The staff at Ashling house are wonderful—kind, patient, and always up for a chat. Mum loves the activities and she’s eating better than she has in years! We sleep well at night knowing she’s happy and safe.

My Husband was well cared for in this home from home, by caring staff and management that runs a nice home, I hope next time visiting will be allowed in his room and anytime visiting can take place. But apart from that I’m very thankful for a home that cares, is pleasant and is so clean. Thank you to everyone who works in Ashling House.

Got Dad into Arran Home last year—best decision we made. Proper service, friendly faces, and they treat him like one of their own. Old-school care you just don’t find these days.

First off, this is not a "care home" it is a home where there is care, warmth and empathy. The people who work here regard everyone as individuals. It is small and the residents here have different reasons for being here but it feels like a group of friends.
Our Mum had dementia and Alzheimer's.
She had lost weight and was quite poorly when we brought her here three years ago but her health and engagement improved
noticeably due to the care she had. When we arrived, Mum and myself were reassured, and when I returned later, Mum was settled. Over time Mum's anxiety, Alzheimer's and unsteadiness increased. The interventions used to help mum were informed, creative and communicated well, they helped her adapt to the way she needed medications, ate and slept.
When mum passed, it was dignified and without pain, in comforting surroundings. The sense
of warmth from the team and residents made it clear that this was the best choice
of care for mum we could have had. We'd highly recommend.
